Welcome!

Stanford Climate and Health provides a space for the Stanford community to take action on climate change, planetary and environmental health, and sustainable health care by engaging in advocacy, education, dialogue, and research. We are working on several projects, including climate change integration into medical and residency education; sustainability at Stanford hospitals and clinics; researching and employing safe, cost effective, and sustainable reusable gowns; partnerships with environmental justice communities for health justice and community empowerment, holding a symposium on climate & pandemic resilience.

Check Out the Keynote from the 2021 NorCal Mini Symposium

At the February 2021 NorCal Mini Symposium on Climate and Pandemic Resilience Dr. Salas spoke about how to apply a climate lens to health policy as we consider ways to green clinics and hospitals and train a climate-ready workforce. This event served as a touchpoint 5 months following our Fall 2020 Symposium on Climate and Pandemic Resilience.
