MS4SF Climate Health Equity Day 2026 conference
The co-directors of the Stanford Climate and Health program attended the MS4SF Climate Health Equity Day 2026 conference in Arlington, Virginia!
- Sebastian Pintea presented his poster, "Overlooked Toll of Climate Change on Migrant Children in the Americas," sharing insights from his research.
- Riya Bhatia and Julianne Park presented their poster, "Building Community-Led Resilience: A Tailored Intervention for Extreme Heat in North Fair Oaks," highlighting their project from last summer.

Stanford’s 2nd Ever Annual Climate Week
Stanford Climate & Health (SCH), in collaboration with the Doerr School of Sustainability, Stanford Health Care, and the Climate & Health Student Group, is proud to introduce the first-ever healthcare programming at Stanford’s 2nd Annual Climate Week. The week will feature an evening panel with healthcare leaders, clinicians, sustainability officers, and engineers, highlighting practical circular solutions and the power of clinical–facilities collaboration to advance sustainability in healthcare.

Bringing Resilience Home: Distributing Extreme Heat Kits to North Fair Oaks
Stanford Climate & Health, in partnership with Climate Resilient Communities, hosted an Extreme Heat Resilience event in North Fair Oaks. Alongside distributing specially designed heat kits, the event featured demonstrations on how to stay safe in high temperatures, with Dr. Patel and Dr. LaBeaud sharing health guidance on coping with extreme heat.
